This should open the format pane, allowing you to change the shading. To format other objects generated from sheets (Filters, Parameters, Highlighters, Legends, etc.) right click on the object and select Format. If you want the title and body of the sheet to appear as one consistent block, you can edit the sheet background, or put the sheet in a container and then change the container background. There is a small transparent gap between the title of a sheet and the body of a sheet. To format the title, right click the title and select Format, or go to the Format menu and select Title and Caption. This impacts the sheet at the dashboard level, and will not change the sheet’s appearance in other dashboards. To edit sheet background, select the sheet, then from the Layout pane, go to Background. You can change the sheet shading to ‘none’ if you want the background color applied to the body of the sheet. To the right, I’ve recreated the dashboard layout with blue boxes for containers and orange for other elements. The Item Hierarchy shows each element on the dashboard, including containers. This sample dashboard has two vertical containers, and a text box at the bottom of the page. Removing empty or redundant containers from the layout can make your dashboard easier to rearrange!
